Being a professional?
Somebody recently asked me why I don’t do photography for living… Or at least get paid for it. I said: “well, who would ever pay me?” He said he definitely would… Well, I’ve been thinking about it a little…
Maybe this will come off as an excuse to being scared just to try and start everything anew. But in fact, as with everything in life - if you pay, you are the one in charge. So, I guess I just want to be in charge instead of being paid.
Another thing (might sound arrogant) - you would have to probably pay me more than you’d like to for me to be interested to shoot for money… So, I better do it for no money rather than for little money.
Disclaimer: everything written above is valid just now. It may not be valid tomorrow (or in an hour if I get a call offering me some seriously big buck) :)
