Little personal frustrations
I don’t know why I thought of it, but I did. And I am rather certain to believe that my experience could be shared by anyone - so, it is the way we disappoint ourselves. With every single stage or change in our lives, we not only set a new benchmark or goals, but we tend to create a new self that we try to be for others. Remember how you went to school and thought - nobody knows me here, so I’ll be a lot …. (insert as appropriate: cooler, smarter, friendlier etc.) than before… But then it turns out that you simply can’t be cooler than you are. Then you go to high school and you try again, a new place - try again, you start working and you try again, and every single time you are disappointed with yourself. Because you simply cannot meet your own coolness, smartness or any other expectations… And that’s jut fine, because it would be ridiculous otherwise. Besides, others have different criteria. What’s sad is when you start running from yourself (which automatically include people around you, some of whom might actually like or even love you) for that reason… Guys, don’t run. Just be. virtually yours,
